Customer Comments and Testimonials
Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
One of our children was reaching the age for middle school entrance exams, and as we discussed our family’s future, the idea of “immigrating abroad” suddenly came up as an option. We felt that living abroad could open up new perspectives for both our children and us. As a couple, we were also seeking a new challenge, so we started researching which country would be the best fit. After looking into various options, we concluded that Canada, which seemed to offer potential for us even in our 40s, would be the best choice for our post-immigration plans.
Why did you choose to consult with Visa JP Canada?
We were attracted by Visa JP Canada’s website, which always provides up-to-date visa news and continuous support all the way to permanent residence. First, we attended an online seminar titled “Immigrating Abroad with Your Family.” During the seminar, Ms. Shiraishi’s explanations were clear and persuasive, and she showed us concrete examples of pathways to permanent residence and family immigration. This made us think that our dream, which had previously felt a bit abstract, might actually be possible to achieve, and after an online consultation, we decided to proceed with their services.
I will attend a public college in Canada for Early Childhood Education (ECE) with a study permit, and after that, I plan to apply for a post-graduation work permit. My husband will obtain a spousal open work permit, allowing him to work remotely with Japan while expanding his career in Canada. Our children will attend public schools free of charge.
Since I don’t have a childcare qualification, the public colleges I can apply to are limited, and we found that there was not as much time as we had expected to secure the study permit for our preferred travel time. However, thanks to Ms. Shiraishi’s precise advice, I was able to receive an approval letter from the school we hoped for, and we proceeded with the visa application. I am very grateful for this.
What memorable events occurred during the application and approval process?
Ms. Gould handled our visa application. Since the application coincided with Canada’s holiday season, it was a very busy time, but we received encouraging words from Ms. Gould. Thanks to her, we were able to complete the visa application by the end of the year, for which we are very thankful. Particularly, a major change in visa application rules was announced in the New Year, and the swift response we received was especially appreciated.
What impressed me most was that, even during such a busy time, all my questions and concerns were handled carefully, calmly, and thoroughly. I had heard about others doing individual visa applications, but with so many documents required and rules constantly changing, I am really glad we could consult with an experienced professional.
How did you find the services of Visa JP Canada?
If we hadn’t consulted with Visa JP Canada, I don’t think we’d be in Canada today. Even though we made this decision ourselves, there were times when anxiety outweighed excitement as we faced such a big decision. During those moments, I remembered Ms. Shiraishi’s words, “Don’t get too caught up in the ups and downs on the way to your goal,” and kept moving forward with the preparations. We are just at the starting line now, but we plan to continue consulting with Visa JP Canada as we aim for permanent residence, staying steady and focused on our path.
Future Outlook for Life in Canada and Message to Those Who Are Planning to Move to Canada
Looking back to a year ago, when we couldn’t even imagine our family living abroad, I truly feel how much has changed in a short period of time. With continuous updates on visa-related rule changes, we realize that our initial plan might change, but as we continue to consult on what’s best at each step, we’ll keep moving forward with determination, and most importantly, we want to enjoy our life in Canada as a family now that it’s become a reality.
From the moment we decided, “Let’s go to Canada,” we believe we’ve arrived in the shortest possible time, and it’s thanks to Visa JP Canada. For those who are considering a similar move, I highly recommend participating in seminars, free consultations, or paid consulting services.
Other Comments
In the month leading up to our departure, there were so many things to do that we felt overwhelmed every day, and even after we arrived at Vancouver International Airport and received our visa and settled into our new home, we were still caught up in all the tasks we had to complete. However, when I sent the visa to Ms. Gould and Ms. Nishizawa for confirmation, I received words of congratulations from them, and it was then that I finally realized, “Ah, we made it to Canada as a family!” It made me feel so happy. Thank you very much!
In our first consultation, we suggested that one of the couples should attend a college to aim for permanent residence, and two weeks later, the wife, who already had the English skills to be accepted into a college, decided to go. One month later, she applied to the college, and after receiving her acceptance letter, we immediately proceeded with the visa application. From the initial consultation to application, it took just over three months. This was an extremely fast process for a family immigration case. This worked out well, as we were able to apply before the suspension of the spousal open work permit came into effect. Currently, Canada’s immigration system is undergoing transition, with major revisions being announced. I encourage families to continue taking the necessary steps and to consult with us to move forward without getting discouraged by the changes. We will continue to support the H family!
