Career Highlights
Born in Japan, Kaoru worked at a major computer manufacturer in Japan before becoming involved in numerous IT-related international projects at PricewaterhouseCoopers. After immigrating to Canada in 2003, she completed the immigration consultant training course at the University of British Columbia and obtained certification as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. She currently primarily assists Japanese clients, specializing in consulting for obtaining short-term visas (such as work permits) and permanent residence (including Federal Skilled Worker class, Provincial Nominee Program, Canadian Experience Class, Family Class, etc.).
She is a full member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and CAPIC (The Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants).
In terms of hobbies, she resumed playing the piano after a long break following her immigration to Canada. She obtained Level 10 in the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) North American music exam system and is currently working towards the higher rank of ARCT (Associate of Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto) performer level.
