グローバルタレントストリームとは

グローバルタレントストリームは雇用主が高いレベルの専門スキルを持つ外国人をカナダに招き入れるための雇用に特化したプログラムです。カナダ人だけでは足りない労働力を補うため、カナダは雇用主が外国人の人材を雇用することに力を入れています。このプログラムを活用して雇用主限定就労ビザを取得する日本人は、特にIT分野の職種で最近増えています。

グローバルタレントストリームの申請条件

カテゴリーA

申請者となる外国人がはthe Stream’s designated partners （ケベック州を除くカナダ国内40以上の高い成長企業）にリスト化されている企業から仕事のオファーを得る必要があります。また、下記のような専門性が高くユニークな人材（an individual with unique and specialized talent）でなければいけません。

最低時給が$38.46または年収が$80,000であること。
業界に関する高度な知識を有すること。
雇用主が関心を持つ専門分野における高度な学位を持っていること。
専門分野での最低5年の経験。

カテゴリーB

Global Talent Occupations Listで指定された需要があり、国内の労働力供給が不十分であると判断された職業について、高度な技能を持つ外国人労働者を雇用する必要があるカナダ国内の企業からの申請を受け付けています。

雇用主限定就労ビザが取得可能な職業一覧（2022年12月現在）

土木エンジニア、電気・電子エンジニア、鉱業エンジニア、航空宇宙エンジニア、コンピューター・エンジニア（ソフトウェア・エンジニアおよびデザイナーを除く）、数学者および統計学者、情報システムアナリストおよびコンサルタント、データベースアナリストおよびデータ管理者、ソフトウェアエンジニアおよびデザイナー、コンピュータープログラマー、インタラクティブメディア開発者、ウェブデザイナーおよび開発者、電気・電子工学技術者および技術者、情報システム試験技術者、デジタルメディアデザイナー。
