I was planning a trip to Canada as a tourist because I wanted to see the aurora.

Although the purpose was tourism, my nationality is one that requires a visa, so I had to apply for a visitor visa. At first I intended to apply on my own and tried the online application process, but I gave up because, among other things, I did not know exactly how to prepare the required documents.
