A Study Permit Secured Just in Time for the Start of Classes Despite a Very Tight Schedule｜Client S

I compared several companies and decided on Shiraishi VisaJP Canada — and it was absolutely the right choice!

Toko Gould

Born in Japan. Worked as a registered dietitian in hospitals and other facilities. Moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2001 on a Working Holiday. Later utilized her professional background to obtain a work visa, then Canadian permanent residency as a skilled worker. Studied Oil and Gas Administration at a college in Alberta, then worked at a U.S.-based oil company. Later studied accounting and transitioned into an accounting role.

What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?

I asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to handle my Study Permit application for enrolling in a public college. Originally, I had been working with a different study-abroad agency before leaving Japan and planned to receive my study permit after arriving in Canada, but the agency was unable to arrange it due to their own circumstances, so I ended up needing to apply myself. When I explained the situation to the international student support centre at the college I was set to attend, I was told that my case was unusual — I had entered Canada on my own working holiday visa — and was beyond what the school’s support could cover, so I was advised to consult a licensed immigration consultant. Since I wasn’t confident in my English, I searched online for a service that could support me in Japanese and requested consultations and quotes from two other companies in addition to Shiraishi VisaJP Canada. I chose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada because: they gave me precise answers after carefully confirming the details of my situation during the free consultation; their explanations were thorough, easy to understand, and made it easy to ask questions; and their fee was reasonable compared to the other quotes.

How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?

My impression throughout the application process was that everything was handled with real care and precision, with no misunderstandings or mistakes, so I never felt anxious. Not only could I never have done this on my own, but I also feel that even if the visa had not been approved, the application had been prepared as thoroughly as it possibly could be from our side.

What was the most memorable part of the process?

I had also been worried about proof of funds, but while preparing the application documents, I found out I would receive a scholarship from the school, and when I submitted the documentation for it, I was even offered congratulations — I really appreciated how they treated each client with such personal care. Thanks to their quick responses on communication and application work, the visa was submitted in time despite the tight schedule, and I am nothing but grateful.

Future outlook and a message for those planning to travel to Canada

Making the deadline was really just good luck, so I would strongly recommend starting to prepare as early as possible.
