Client E decided to study in Canada as a working professional after a high school study-abroad experience, and asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to handle the study permit application. As restrictions on international students were intensifying, with quick information and support, the study permit was obtained in 3 weeks.
I’ll put it simply: VisaJP Canada’s service is wonderful!

Key Points from the Consultant
In the consulting session to set a direction toward permanent residence, since the client wanted to prioritize both the likelihood of obtaining PR and financial considerations, we took her background into account and decided to aim for permanent residence through the Atlantic region.
Because she took action right after the consultation, that also helped her take a smooth first step.
Let’s keep working together toward permanent residence!
Immigration Consultant
Born in Japan. After earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, she worked for six years in New York as a marketing consultant at a major travel agency, while also studying in an MBA program at the City University of New York. After returning to Japan, she managed the visa center of the same travel company, handling various international visa applications for foreign clients.
Client Comments
Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
The main reason I decided to immigrate to Canada was my experience studying in Kelowna for three months in high school. I felt that Kelowna had a great environment — safe and full of nature — so I decided on Canada.
What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
It started with an internet search. Their website and YouTube channel were updated frequently and had a lot of information, and they also posted breaking visa news straight from Canada, which made me feel I could trust them. The interviews with past clients and the case studies were also fascinating, so I decided to reach out.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
Right around the time I was about to apply for my study permit, news came out that the Canadian government was going to restrict international students. It became clear that traveling to Canada as soon as possible was best, but at the time I was living in Japan, wasn’t confident in my English, and felt anxious about moving up my timeline. However, Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s website was constantly updated, new videos were posted on YouTube, and they supported me by email too, which kept me from giving up.
How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?
I’ll put it simply: Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s service is wonderful! They gave me detailed guidance on things like how to behave and what to say at airport immigration, so everything went very smoothly, and their support system was the best — it really helped me.
Future outlook and a message for those planning to travel to Canada
I plan to spend the next two years in university and then start job hunting in Canada. I think the period before actually arriving in Canada is when people feel the most anxious. But thanks to Shiraishi VisaJP Canada, at least my visa-related worries are reduced. I’ve really relied on them.
Additional Comments
Since I studied abroad as a working professional after already working in Japan, I thought I might be at a disadvantage because of my age. However, during an online counselling session, they told me that each province has different immigration programs, and they recommended Nova Scotia, which is what I chose. It’s far from Japan, but the climate is great, the people are great, and I really love it. Depending on your purpose for studying abroad, I’d recommend considering places outside the big cities as one option.
