Customer Comments and Testimonials

As she approached her 30s, E decided to take on a new challenge by pursuing a co-op program in Canada. As a Brazilian citizen residing in Japan, she asked Shiraishi Visa JP Canada to assist with her application.

Due to changes to Canada’s visa application system in 2026, she was required to adjust her original travel schedule. However, through approximately nine months of careful email communication and prompt updates regarding her situation, she was ultimately able to complete the application process and successfully make the transition to her new status in Canada.

Why did you decide to move to Canada?

I came to Canada through a co-op program. Before turning 30, I wanted to broaden my possibilities once again and take on a new challenge, so I started considering studying abroad.

Many of my friends had participated in Working Holiday programs in Canada and told me that it was a comfortable country to live in. Hearing their experiences made me genuinely want to experience living in Canada myself.

Why did you decide to use Shiraishi Visa JP Canada?

I am a Brazilian citizen living in Japan. Since many visa application agencies only provide services to Japanese citizens, I contacted Shiraishi Visa JP Canada to ask whether they could assist me.

When they told me that they could handle my application, I immediately decided to proceed with them.

What was the most memorable part of the application process?

In 2026, changes were made to Canada’s visa application system, which caused delays in the process.

I was originally scheduled to travel to Canada in May, but my study permit had not yet been approved, so I had to postpone my trip by two months.

During this time, the person in charge responded quickly and provided me with clear guidance. Although my departure was delayed, I was ultimately able to travel to Canada successfully.

How was your experience with Shiraishi Visa JP Canada?

Although all communication was conducted by email, there were many detailed procedures involved, so I really appreciated receiving clear and easy-to-understand explanations each time.

Thanks to their detailed guidance, I had relatively few questions or concerns, and I was able to prepare everything carefully by following the instructions provided in their emails, without missing anything.

What are your plans for your life in Canada, and what message would you give to people considering coming to Canada?

Since I am beginning my co-op program by attending school first, I want to make the most of each day, study hard, and work toward securing a job offer from the company or organization I hope to work for.

One thing I have realized again since coming to Canada is just how diverse the country is. I have had the opportunity to meet people from so many different nationalities, and I can truly feel the diversity here.

Although my experience in Canada has only just begun, I strongly feel that this will become a lifelong treasure for me.

Additional Comments

I am extremely grateful for all the support I received throughout the approximately nine-month application process.

Thank you very much for everything.

Consultant's Point

E retained our services to assist with her study permit application for her co-op program. In this application, the processing time significantly exceeded the average, and we contacted Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) multiple times to inquire about the status. During the process, we also received a request for a medical examination that we believed would not ordinarily have been necessary, which was one of the situations that made us feel the potential impact of the AI-assisted screening processes that have recently been discussed. Despite repeatedly contacting IRCC to check on the application, we continued to receive responses asking us to wait while the application remained under review. As it became clear that the application would not be processed in time for E's original school start date, we submitted a new Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Co-op Letter while the application was still under review. At the same time, we explained that E had been forced to postpone her studies due to the prolonged processing time and that she was experiencing significant difficulties as a result. We also requested that IRCC expedite the processing of her application. Although E ultimately had to postpone her original start date, we were relieved that her study permit was successfully approved. We understand that this was a long and stressful period for E, and we sincerely appreciate her trust and patience throughout the process. We sincerely hope that E has a fulfilling, rewarding, and successful study experience in Canada.
