Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?

After leaving the Japanese company where I had worked for many years, I decided to try language study abroad, partly as a chance to rest, and I chose Canada because it is a good environment for learning English and because of the cost of studying. Life in Canada has its difficulties, but I learn a lot, the environment and people are good, and with my lifestyle changing so much, I realized, perhaps it sounds exaggerated, that there were new options in my life, and I started thinking about obtaining permanent residence.

At first, I researched permanent residence on the internet by myself, but given my age it did not seem easy, so I thought it would be more reliable to ask an expert. What was the most memorable part of the process?

Just as I graduated from college and was about to make one last push toward permanent residence, the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic began. I had a three-year Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), but even so, with a limited period and a pandemic that might never end, I spent every day feeling very anxious.

Now that I have permanent residence, and since Canada is a vast country, I would like to try living in various provinces. I also want to keep studying by attending university while working.
