On graduating from college, Client K was worried that online classes during the pandemic and a graduation delayed by a program change might affect the review, and asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) on their behalf. With careful explanations and advice, Client K obtained the PGWP in about 5 months.
Her advice, based on extensive expertise and experience, was very reassuring.

What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
I graduated from college in May 2022, and immigration consultant Ms. Shiraishi handled my PGWP* application on my behalf.
* PGWP: Post-Graduation Work Permit
At first I considered applying on my own, but there were some things I was unsure about, so I decided to ask for the application service. Looking back, asking them was absolutely the right decision.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
First of all, because of COVID-19, I had taken almost all of my college classes online, and I was very worried that this might count against me in the PGWP review. I read the government website and asked my school, but I could not shake off the worry. However, when I consulted Ms. Shiraishi, she explained everything carefully until I was satisfied, and I was able to prepare my application with peace of mind.
In addition, I had changed programs while at school, so I had attended much longer than the original program length. She advised me that it would be better to write a letter explaining why my graduation was delayed, so I wrote one. Ms. Shiraishi also checked my draft and gave me detailed instructions on what to add and what to remove. Her advice, based on extensive expertise and experience, was very reassuring.
In the end, my PGWP was issued at the end of October, but I was able to wait without any worries. If I had applied on my own, I think I would have been on edge for those five months.
How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?
I am truly grateful to Ms. Shiraishi, who always responded quickly and carefully. Thank you so much.
