Client H needed to choose the most suitable application category from several programs for permanent residence and, on a friend’s introduction, asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to handle a permanent residence application under the Family Class (inland application / common-law partner). With our precise advice, Client H obtained permanent residence in about 5 months.
The Family Class application involves a lot of documents and gathering them was hard, but the right advice was a huge help!

Client Comments
What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
I asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to handle my Family Class application because a friend who had obtained Canadian permanent residence had used them, was very satisfied, and introduced me.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
With so many options for obtaining permanent residence, I was indecisive and could not decide which program to apply under, so I consulted Ms. Yamashita and Ms. Shiraishi over and over. I am very grateful for their precise advice. Then there was gathering each document and collecting photos to prove our common-law partnership. Because I started preparing the application in Canada, some documents had to be ordered from Japan, which took time and effort. I lived in Nova Scotia and had to go all the way to Montreal to get my police certificate, which cost both money and time.
How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?
If I had applied on my own without the application service, I think gathering an enormous amount of documents, signing many kinds of forms, and organizing everything according to the rules would have been unimaginably stressful.
Also, my post-graduation work permit expired during the review, and I asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to handle an extension application under a public policy as well; the permit was issued without any problems. The permanent residence review was completed shortly afterward, so I barely had a chance to use the extended permit, but thanks to it I was able to maintain my status until I obtained permanent residence.
Future outlook and a message for those planning to travel to Canada
From now on, I want to achieve, one by one, the things I could not try because I did not have permanent residence. For those who are about to apply: I think it will be easier if you consult an immigration consultant in advance and prepare any documents that can be prepared while you are still in Japan.
