Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
Because I wanted to leave Japan and start a new life in Canada.
What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
I applied for permanent residence myself, but the application was returned and I was stuck. While I was looking for a lawyer, with no idea what to do, I learned about Shiraishi VisaJP Canada and consulted them straight away on LINE. I felt they would deal with me sincerely, so I decided on the spot to ask them.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
There were many situations I could not have handled alone — the initial document submission being rejected because of an AI malfunction, slow replies from the immigration authority, and so on. Even so, thanks to my consultant, everything moved forward smoothly.
How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?
They dealt with me so attentively, and it was a real help. I am also considering Canadian citizenship in the future, and I would definitely like to ask them then as well.

Key Points from the Consultant
Our client’s self-filed application was returned, and because it was during the pandemic it took some time before she even realised it had been returned. She contacted us to gather the documents and re-apply.
There was all kinds of trouble — the application being returned because of an AI malfunction, slow responses from the immigration authority — but although the average for in-Canada applications had reached 36 months, approval came about 13 months after the final filing, and she became a permanent resident.
Waiting that long without status, and on an in-Canada application, must have meant a great deal of patience and anxiety. Thank you for cooperating with us so patiently to the very end.
We hope she now enjoys life in Canada as a permanent resident, and her travels too!
