Customer Comments and Testimonials

After experiencing a Working Holiday and homestay in Canada, M decided to move to Canada with her family after getting married and having children.

Seven years ago, she first asked us to assist with obtaining an LMIA Work Permit for her husband so that the family could move to Canada from Japan. Since then, we have provided ongoing support through multiple visa and status renewals over the years to help maintain valid status for the entire family, including their children.

This time, we assisted with an LMIA Work Permit application necessitated by a change in her husband’s employer.

Why did you decide to move to Canada?

Before getting married, I experienced both a Working Holiday and a homestay in Calgary and Vancouver, and I fell in love with Canada.

After getting married and having children in Japan, I discussed the idea with my husband and children, and we ultimately decided to move to Canada together as a family.

Why did you decide to use Shiraishi Visa JP Canada’s services?

I had already known about Shiraishi Visa JP Canada since my Working Holiday days because I had often visited their website, so I had no hesitation about asking them for assistance.

Seven years ago, when we were preparing to move to Canada from Japan, I first asked them to assist my husband with obtaining an LMIA Work Permit.

What was the most memorable part of the application and visa process?

They responded quickly and accurately to even the smallest questions and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. This allowed me to proceed with the application with peace of mind.

How was your experience using Shiraishi Visa JP Canada’s services?

This was another visa renewal, and I have been satisfied with their service and support every time.

What are your hopes for your future life in Canada, and what message would you give to people planning to come to Canada?

We are now in our eighth year of living in Canada, so obtaining permanent residence (PR) is our biggest goal.

My twins also really enjoy attending school in Canada and are having fun every day with friends from all over the world.

There are certainly things that are very different from Japan, and sometimes you need to be more mindful of certain things in order to live comfortably. However, many people in the local community, as well as the families of my children’s school friends, have been very kind and supportive, so honestly, I have never experienced a situation where I felt truly helpless.

For anyone considering moving to Canada or studying abroad, I highly recommend taking the leap, coming to Canada, and experiencing it for yourself.

Consultant's Point

Ms. M and her family have been living in Canada for many years, and this was the second time I had the opportunity to assist them, following their previous LMIA Work Permit application. Due to the closure of their employer’s company, they needed to start the LMIA process again through a related company. It became a long process, particularly as we had to navigate several changes to immigration rules and policies along the way. We followed up with the relevant authorities several times and were fortunately able to obtain approval relatively quickly for an LMIA Work Permit application, despite the circumstances. This was an unusual case, and perhaps because we followed up several times, the application result for the principal applicant, Ms. M, has already been received. However, the applications for her accompanying family members are still being processed. We sincerely hope that their results will be issued soon as well.
