Given the recent lengthy LMIA processing times, the applicant was understandably concerned and signed a service agreement with us at an early stage. This allowed us to begin preparing the application promptly. However, the submission was significantly delayed as it took additional time to obtain all of the required documents from the employer due to circumstances that were, in part, beyond the employer's control. Once the application was submitted, it proceeded smoothly and was processed in approximately the average processing time at the time. We are very pleased that the applicant was once again able to successfully obtain a three-year work permit. The applicant's next goal is permanent residence. Although immigration rules and requirements may change in the future, we will continue to closely monitor any developments and provide support throughout the permanent residence process.
