Customer Comments and Testimonials

This case involved a client who asked us to assist with her visa application, in part because we have an office located in Canada.

During the application process, it was discovered that there had been a misunderstanding regarding the interpretation of her husband’s previous employment history in Canada. As a result, it became necessary to urgently correct information that had already been submitted to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We promptly reviewed the submitted documents again and handled the necessary amendment to the application, ultimately helping Ms. Y successfully obtain her Post-Graduation Work Permit.

Why did you decide to move to Canada?

I chose Canada because it is a multicultural society and, compared with other countries, I felt that studying in Canada was relatively accessible for Japanese people.

Why did you decide to use Shiraishi Visa JP Canada’s services?

I felt that I could trust them because they have an office in Canada and, when I first contacted them for a consultation, they responded extremely quickly.

What was the most memorable part of the application and visa process?

There was a misunderstanding regarding my husband’s employment history in Canada, which meant that we needed to make corrections after the application had already been submitted.

When this happened, they responded immediately after I contacted them. After the documents were resubmitted, they also promptly handled the necessary amendment request with IRCC.

How was your experience using Shiraishi Visa JP Canada’s services?

Mr. Gould’s efficiency and thoroughness have remained unchanged over the years, and I trust him completely.

What are your hopes for your future life in Canada, and what message would you give to people planning to come to Canada?

There is always some anxiety involved when applying for a visa.

I believe that having the peace of mind that comes from knowing “Shiraishi Visa JP Canada is supporting me throughout the process” is something that cannot be measured in monetary terms.

If you are considering studying abroad, reducing your worries and uncertainties as much as possible before you go is certainly one option worth considering.

Consultant's Point

We have assisted Ms. Y with various applications over the years, including her spouse’s visa applications, as well as her own Study Permit, Study Permit extension, and now her Post-Graduation Work Permit application. Ms. Y has experienced various challenges, including moving to a different location for school. Despite these circumstances, she has always taken the time to carefully review everything and has been extremely kind and cooperative throughout the process. We sincerely appreciate her continued trust and cooperation. This time, there was a change that needed to be reported regarding her husband’s employment history, which we submitted to IRCC. The current average processing time for Post-Graduation Work Permit applications was listed as 186 days (26.5 weeks), but fortunately, her application was processed much sooner. We were very relieved that the notification of the change, its receipt by IRCC, and the subsequent update to her application were all completed in time for the change to be properly reflected before a decision was made. We expect that Ms. Y will now begin taking more concrete steps toward permanent residence. We sincerely hope that she will be able to successfully obtain her permanent residence smoothly and without complications.
