Client Comments

Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?

I decided to move to Canada because I was drawn to the opportunities the country offers — especially the chance to grow, build stability, and create a better future. Canada has a strong economy, fair systems, and a culture that values hard work and respect, and those things really matter to me.

I also wanted to build my own life — a life where I can stand on my own, make my own decisions, and work toward long-term goals. Living in Canada allows me to do that. I feel that this is a place where I can continue improving myself, contribute to the community, and build a future I can be proud of.

What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?

I chose Visa JP Canada because they were referred to me by a family member, and we’ve already used their services several times — from work permit applications, to PR Card renewals to my citizenship process now. Each time, they’ve been very detailed, organized, and easy to reach. They explain every step clearly and break down the requirements in a way that’s simple to understand. I feel confident working with them because they guide me properly and make the whole process smooth and stress-free.

What was the most memorable part of the process?

One memorable part of my application process was that I never felt lost or overwhelmed. Everything went smoothly, and I didn’t experience any major difficulties. The steps were clear, and I always understood what I needed to do next. Because of that, the whole experience became memorable in a good way — it felt organized, manageable, and not stressful at all.

How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?

My experience with your services has been consistently smooth and professional. I was referred by a family member, and since then, I’ve relied on your team for multiple applications, including my work permit and now my citizenship. Your guidance is detailed, clear, and easy to follow, and I always felt supported throughout the process. I never felt lost or uncertain at any stage.

Future outlook and a message for those planning to travel to Canada

For those planning to travel to Canada and eventually settle here, adjustment and adaptation are crucial. Sometimes you may need to take a different route in your career. For example, I went from an office job to a healthcare worker. My future plans include further studies.

Key Points from the Consultant

Consultant's Point

We have had the opportunity to assist R with several immigration-related matters over the years. Before R obtained permanent residence, we assisted with two work permit applications. We later assisted R's spouse with a PR card renewal application, and most recently, we supported R with their Canadian citizenship application. When preparing the citizenship application, R was already planning an extended stay in their home country and was concerned about the timing of the application and whether being outside Canada would affect the process. In R's case, being outside Canada did not prevent the citizenship application from being submitted, so we proceeded with the application preparations as planned. Most of the required documents were gathered without difficulty, but we needed to wait for the final document—the police certificate—before submitting the application. As a result, things became a little hectic immediately before submission. Once the application was filed, however, the process proceeded smoothly, with no requests for additional documents. Citizenship applications can take some time to process, so the waiting period may have felt long. However, while the average processing time at the time was approximately 12 months, R's application was approved in approximately 7.5 months, allowing the process to be completed relatively quickly. Having supported R through work permits, permanent residence, and now Canadian citizenship, we are very pleased to have been part of this journey. We wish R continued success in this new chapter as a Canadian citizen.
