Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?

After graduating from a baking school in Japan, I worked at a Japanese bakery for about three years, but I wanted to try working at a bakery abroad, so I came to Vancouver on a working holiday. After spending about three months in Vancouver taking it easy, I applied for a baker position advertised at a café in my neighbourhood. When I brought my résumé along with a Danish pastry I had made myself, I happened to be able to talk with the owner, who was in the shop, and was hired on the spot.
