Starting with a job at a Japanese restaurant found on Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s job listings page, this client asked us to handle two work permit applications. Despite the difficulty of two refusals caused by a miscommunication with the LMO officer, the client received persistent support and obtained permanent residence through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) in about 14 months.
After coming to Canada through our job placement, this client, with whom we have had a long relationship, achieved the goal with a smile!

What was the most memorable part of the process?
It has been almost six years since I came to Canada on a working holiday, and I have now obtained the permanent residence I had long hoped for. While I was living in Japan, I had been looking at Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s job listings page, and starting with a job at a Japanese restaurant I found there, I went on to apply for a work permit twice, and after a long journey I was finally able to become an immigrant. In applying for immigration and work permits, the Canadian government’s requirements were not always the same, and there were struggles, with various things, such as the business situation of the restaurant I worked for, sometimes going well and sometimes not. When I applied for my second work permit, there was a miscommunication during the LMO officer’s telephone interview with the restaurant supporting my work permit, and the application was refused twice. However, with the strong conviction that “there is nothing wrong with the application, so there is no way it won’t be approved!” and thanks to the efforts of Shiraishi VisaJP Canada, I was able to obtain the work permit at the very last moment.
What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
I was not financially well off, and to be honest, I also went to counselling sessions with several other agencies (Japanese and Canadian). The consultant fees were not very different anywhere, but at Shiraishi VisaJP Canada, payments were made at each stage of progress, so there was little financial risk. They also gave me thorough counselling before applying, and above all, they were sincere and trustworthy. That was the main reason I chose their services.
Additional Comments
I am grateful to Shiraishi VisaJP Canada, to the restaurant owner who hired me, and to all my friends who encouraged me.
