This client had been told by another consultant that it would be difficult, but learned through a counselling session with Shiraishi VisaJP Canada that there was a possibility, and asked us to handle a permanent residence application under BCPNP Skilled Workers. Despite the difficulty of a temporary work permit refusal, the client obtained permanent residence in about 10 months.
Making full use of the client’s work experience in Japan, and with the employer’s cooperation on our proposal, we filed the application. We are glad we could proceed in the best possible way!

Client Comments
Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
From the moment I decided to go to Canada, I wanted to stay for a few years. At that point I had no concrete plans, but a few months after switching to a working holiday visa, I started gathering information online, thinking that obtaining permanent residence might be the best option.
What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
That said, I had heard that permanent residence required far more documents than the working holiday visa application and was difficult, so I started by looking for a consultant. I also attended free seminars and counselling sessions with other consultants, but there I was told that it would be very difficult. Half ready to give up, I asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada for a counselling session and learned that there was a possibility. While talking with them, I felt I could leave it to them with peace of mind, so I asked them to handle my application.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
Shortly after my BCPNP application, my working holiday was about to expire, so I also applied for a work permit, but the timing did not line up with the PNP review and the visa was refused once. If I had been applying on my own, I think I would have panicked. After that, there were no particular problems, and I was able to obtain permanent residence smoothly. Their support was truly reassuring.
