Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
My dream was to work at a café overseas, and in 2010 I came to Canada on a working holiday. From that time on, I was moved by the working environment and the kind people in Canada, and I thought I would like to immigrate here.
After my working holiday visa expired, I switched to a co-op visa and attended college, studying while continuing to work at the café. My English was not that strong, so the six months of classes were hellish, but thanks to working hard at that time, I earned a diploma when I graduated, which helped with my immigration application. After that, I returned to Japan, and in 2017 I came back with a work permit to apply for immigration.

What was the most memorable part of the process?
