Inspired by a TV program to build a life in Canada, the Y family asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada for help with everything from a job referral to a work permit, and later a permanent residence application under the BCPNP. With accurate advice throughout, they obtained permanent residence through the BCPNP in approximately 17 months.
Jinzai Canada supported the job placement, and Shiraishi VisaJP Canada supported the work permit and permanent residence applications. Originally Chinese nationals who naturalized as Japanese citizens and then obtained Canadian permanent residence, they are a truly international family.

Client Comments
Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
It was about two years ago that our family first turned to Shiraishi VisaJP Canada. After watching a TV program, we wanted to try living in Canada ourselves, and when we researched online, we found a company called Jinzai Canada (its former name), so we first asked them to help us find a job. We received an offer without any problems, and they immediately applied for a work permit on our behalf.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
Everything was completely new to us, so to be honest there were times when we were very anxious, but thanks to the immigration consultant in charge, who always gave us quick, accurate advice and instructions on preparing documents, we were granted a two-year work permit.
Our family came to Canada in June 2013, and after I had worked for my current employer for about six months, I asked my boss whether they would support an immigration application, and they gladly agreed. I immediately contacted the Shiraishi VisaJP Canada consultant who had handled our previous application and said we wanted to apply for immigration. They moved just as quickly as they had for the work permit, and everything went smoothly, from preparing and drafting the documents to submitting them to the province of BC and to immigration, so we got through it without any stress at all.
Because we submitted the documents at a good time, the provincial review and the CIC review together took about one year and five months, and we finally became immigrants.
