Fulfilling a Long-Held Dream of Living Abroad and Becoming a Permanent Resident｜Client K

Preparing for the English test and more was tough, but thanks to the CEC-targeted invitations in 2021, I got my PR.

Immigration Consultant

Yumiko Sakurai

Born in Japan. Worked in tour planning and led international tours at a major travel agency, visiting dozens of countries. After immigrating to Canada in 2003, she worked at a software company in Montreal focusing on the Japanese market. She studied Immigration Consulting at Vanier College and became a licensed immigration consultant. Wanting to support the Japanese community more actively, she relocated to Vancouver where she currently resides and works.

Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?

I had always been interested in living abroad, and hearing that Canada is a country that welcomes immigrants, is safe and is easy to live in was what led me to aim for immigration to Canada.

What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?

I learned about Shiraishi VisaJP Canada while researching on the internet how to get a visa to move to Canada. They had many case examples and offered services in Japanese, so I contacted them right away and signed a contract.

The consultant in charge was Ms. Sakurai, who always replied quickly and answered my questions and concerns carefully and clearly, so I am really glad I asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada.

What was the most memorable part of the process?

The road to permanent residence was not easy, and the hardest part was getting the required English test score. I worked at a restaurant, so I finished work late at night, went to school in the morning and did homework in my spare time, which left only minimal time for studying, and my English did not improve easily.

I was under a lot of stress from impatience and anxiety, and I am sincerely grateful to Ms. Sakurai, who treated me with such care even then.

How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?

Ms. Sakurai always suggested the best approach for me, and if anyone is wondering whether to use Shiraishi VisaJP Canada, I would definitely recommend them!

The rules and application methods for Canadian permanent residence change frequently, and I think leaving it to experienced professionals can reduce that kind of anxiety. On top of that, Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s thorough support is truly wonderful!

Future outlook and a message for those planning to travel to Canada

Canada is a country that is very open to immigrants. Unexpected chances for permanent residence may come up in the future, so I think it is important to have the right knowledge, and a good first step is to consult trustworthy professionals.

Additional Comments

Thank you for taking care of me for such a long time, and I look forward to your continued support.
