Overcoming Immigration Rule Changes and Other Hurdles to Obtain Permanent Residence!

This client, who had been trying to obtain a work permit after a working holiday without success, consulted Shiraishi VisaJP Canada and entrusted us with everything. After major rule changes right after the work permit application, the client switched to a permanent residence application through the BCPNP and, with the owner’s cooperation, obtained permanent residence.
We took over after the client’s applications had been refused several times with other consultants. There was a period of about a year and a half when the client had to wait in Japan, but that patience paid off with permanent residence!

Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
I originally came to Canada on a working holiday (Working Holiday Visa) and planned to return home after one year, but the owner I was working for brought up a work permit with me several times.
I was the first applicant ever to get a work permit at that shop, so we tried applying while getting advice from an acquaintance of the owner who knew about visas, but it did not go well, and time just kept passing.
What made you choose Shiraishi VisaJP Canada?
It was then that I found Shiraishi VisaJP Canada through their website, and while consulting them about my current situation and future plans, I quickly decided to leave everything to them.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
Right after I applied for a work permit through Shiraishi VisaJP Canada, the intake and processing of applications were suddenly suspended for a while because major rule changes were being implemented.
Since no one knew when it would resume, I was quite shocked, but Ms. Shiraishi, who was in charge of my case, suggested, “There is still a possibility of applying for permanent residence through the BCPNP.”
I was skeptical whether that was possible for someone like me with no particular skills, but I immediately started preparing for the permanent residence application.
Since it was a permanent residence application, it was more complicated than the work permit, with many documents to submit, and I was told it would also place a greater burden on the owner.
Fortunately, however, the owner was very cooperative, and Ms. Shiraishi acted as the go-between, so it progressed more smoothly than I expected.
It took more than a year from the PNP application to the nomination, and about 1 year and 4 months from there to receiving my COPR. What was originally supposed to be a work permit application turned into an urgent PR application due to unexpected circumstances, and it became quite a long journey, but I could never have handled the frequently changing rules and complicated application methods on my own while working.
How was your experience using Shiraishi VisaJP Canada’s services?
I would like to thank Ms. Shiraishi once again, who throughout this long period always listened to me with genuine care and gave me quick and precise advice.
Thank you so much.
