This is the case of Client S, who came to Vancouver to fulfill a dream of studying abroad held since junior high school and, after the anxiety of the application category being temporarily closed, asked Shiraishi VisaJP Canada to handle a permanent residence application under BCPNP ELSS. Entrusting Ms. Shiraishi with the difficulties of dealing with the employer, the client obtained permanent residence in approximately 22 months.
Although the client was in the 2014 BCPNP group, whose review took the longest, the client was able to keep working in Canada while waiting throughout the review.

Why did you decide to immigrate to Canada?
Ever since I started learning English in junior high school, I had vaguely dreamed of studying abroad.
In 2010, I traveled to eastern Canada, and around that time I began seriously wanting to study abroad, so I came to Vancouver in the spring of 2011. From the beginning, I hoped I might be able to obtain permanent residence, and my friends were all aiming for it too, so we exchanged information with each other even though our categories were different.
My category was temporarily closed around 2014, and while I worried that my dream of Canadian permanent residence might never come true, I looked for a workplace that would sponsor me, just in case, and started working there. Luckily, the category reopened, and I met all the conditions to apply.
What was the most memorable part of the process?
Along the way, my employer sometimes told me things like “We can’t prepare this document!”, which made me anxious, but Ms. Shiraishi handled everything, and I was able to move forward with my permanent residence application under BCPNP without trouble. After that, the wait until the medical exam request was very long, and I was worn out from waiting, but when I was told that the request had arrived, I felt relief more than joy (laughs).
After that, things seemed to move faster than I expected. Next week, I will go to the border and officially become a permanent resident!
Future outlook and a message for those planning to travel to Canada
I am a good deal older than most other applicants, but I hope people of my generation who are aiming for permanent residence will keep going and not give up.
Eight years have passed since I first wanted to obtain permanent residence, and I want to make the most of my new life in Canada.
